Who and What: The Sangkheum Center for Children ('sangkheum' means 'hope' in Khmer) has been providing education, training, scholastic support and care to disadvantaged children and youth in Cambodia since 2001. We strive to provide a brighter future for orphaned, abused and neglected children who would otherwise be at risk of turning to a life on the streets. We offer continued support through integration and work training until the age of 20 through the Young Adults Program.

The Experience: For those wanting to support this project, visits can be arranged by appointment only. Visitors will be given a tour of the centre by a member of staff or volunteer. You can see the centre in action and will be given an informative tour which will allow you to see and feel the positive outlook and future that is generated and the massive contribution made to the personal development of the children
