Who and What: Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is dedicated to improving the health of Cambodia's children by providing paediatric care free-of-charge. The dedicated staff of Cambodian doctors and nurses provides services for 300 to 500 babies and children per day and the hospital handles over 100,000 visits per year. AHC is training health care professionals from all over the country.
The Experience: Those with a genuine interest in the hospital and its work can organise a tour of the hospital with a staff member. Drop in on the visitor centre complete with information and a documentary on child healthcare in Cambodia.
